Phodot's First Hometown Wedding

Here are a few of our favorite photographs from our first Phodot "hometown" wedding in Buffalo MN. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Francis Xavior Church. We all followed with a stop at Sturgis Park on Buffalo Lake and a stop at the Buffalo Bar & Grill on our way to the reception at the Bison Creek-Huikko's Dining & Event Center.

Emily & Rafael's Wedding Day

Above are three of our favorite pictures Mark and I took during Emily and Rafael's wedding. I know they are all kissing photos; Mark and I can't help it we are romantics. Emily and Rafael's ceremony took place at the Church of the Holy Name in Minneapolis Minnesota. They followed with photos at Powder Horn Park and a reception at The Dancer's Studio.

Four Days till the Twin Cities Bridal Assoc. Bridal Fair

The countdown is on there are only 4 days remaining until Phodot Incorporated premieres their wedding photography booth at the March 28th Twin Cities Bridal Fair at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Tickets are $15 come and visit with Mark and Stacy.

Buffalo MN Bridal Expo

Mark and I visited the Buffalo Bridal Expo today at St. John's Church. Mark and I did not hear about the Expo in time to have Phodot participate. We went instead to speak to serveral of the vendors regarding the local wedding business and to hand vendors our Phodot card. This was the first year for this Expo. For local brides the Expo was great to see what local vendors can offer.

Last Minute Spring Weddings

Snap Happy!

Mark and I found ourselves snap happy today as the weather warmed up to 63 here in Buffalo MN. We let Junior loose on Sturges Park next to Buffalo Lake. As he ran about the park Mark and I passed a camera back and forth clicking here and there. We located some key areas for future portrait sessions. I can't wait to see the park full of leaves and green grass. For our family in California there is still ice on the lake.

American Heart Association Gala

Mark and I are proud to announce that Phodot Incorporated will be providing the photography for the American Heart Association Gala on October 16th 2010 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Chris Evans Bridal Boot Camp

Mark and I attended the Chris Evans Bridal Boot Camp today at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We are getting in shape for wedding season!

MNPPA Membership

Mark and I attended our first MNPPA (Minnesota Professional Photographers Assoc.) Conference in Saint Cloud over the weekend. The event was fabulous. The beauty of the Minnesota vs. the California Assoc. event was the size. The intimate nature of the group let us get up close with several national photographers. We could raise our hands and ask questions and not be lost in a sea of arms. We are excited to put to work our new ideas.

Twin Cities Bridal Association Member

Phodot is now a member of the Twin Cities Bridal Association. We signed the contacts this morning. We will be participating in the Sunday March 28th Bridal Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Come and visit us between 11 and 4.

Twin Cities Bridal Association Bridal Show

Mark and I checked out the Twin Cities wedding scene today at the Twin Cities Bridal Association Bridal Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. There was lots of treats to sample and beautiful dresses on display. The fair is a great place for brides to start their event planning.

The Assoc. is hosting another wedding fair on March 28th. Mark and I would like to thank Bjorn of Bjorn Meisner Photography and Whitaker of Wilson Whitaker Photography for taking some time to talk to us during the fair today. We appreciate their feedback and insight regarding the fair and the Assoc.

Phodot is now an official Minnesota Corporation recognized by both the IRS and the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Mark and I are the process of finalizing our new business cards. I will post them once they are done. Bring on the customers!

Twin Cities Bridal Association Bridal Show

Mark and I are jazzed we will be attending the Twin Cities Bridal Association Bridal Show on January 17th at the Convention Center. We are going to check out the Minnesota wedding scene and see if we want to join the Association and perhaps have our own booth at their next show. For those whom may want to attend the show runs from 11-4 and admission is $15.
